Meet The Teacher
Over the past 14 years, Troy's stress free, student led approach has helped thousands of students as young as 3 to confidently express themselves through the guitar.Ā
Troy studied Classical Guitar at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and holds his Level 9 from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Outside of theĀ classical music space, he played in a metal band for 6 years, and opened for his favourite band on one of their western Canada tours.
By meeting students where theyā€™re at each week, Troyā€™s able to teach students of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences the music they love, while making the skill of guitar (that can be challenging) feel fun, light, and easy.
